Every year, millions of songs are produced from around the globe. They can be of different genres like pop, hip-hop, rock, ballad, mellow, classical and a whole lot more. Some has pleasant tunes while the others have good lyrics. The songs listed below have both of those qualities mentioned.
- Warning – Incubus
The lyrics of the song pertain to how we should taste every bit of life. It also reminds us that we should maximize our happiness and don’t let time pass us by or else we would miss a lot from our lives. Moreover, it gives us the idea that people have the capacity to do great things, and that they must open their eyes widely to things that are essential before it’s too late.
- Like A Stone – Audioslave
This song by the band “Audioslave” is one of their best hits because it has lyrics that are linguistically artistic like a poem. Whether you are a religious person or not, you will love this song because of its rhythm and the way the lead vocalist Chris Cornell interpreted the song through his vocal chords. It is about regrets and asking forgiveness from the Almighty above and asking for a place in his Kingdom when the “time” arrives.
- Otherside – Red Hot Chili Peppers
Moving on is never easy when you have already met the ideal one, the one that you think who is able to fill up the gap inside you. This song mourns for the loss of someone special who has the possibility to never come back and insinuating that this could be a fact that needs to be accepted. Waiting is like a battlefield, you’ll get scarred by it. So, the best option is to just let go of the past.
- Somebody – Depeche Mode
Yearning for someone that you can connect with is very complicated, and finding someone with the same “frequency” as yours can sometimes be unfruitful. However, it is more difficult to find someone who can understand you even though your opinions and viewpoints in life are different from each other. The lyrics of the song hint some pointers that it would be better if we search for somebody to respect us and love us for what we are. True caring is also a vital part in having an intimate companion in life
5. Not Every Pain Hurts – Lacrimosa
I know most of you are not familiar with this song but I believe that this song can empower the listeners to be brave enough to let go of the pain and to treat pain as only experiences that can make you endure life’s challenges and persuade you to be strong no matter how painful something is. It is one of the hits of the German band “Lacrimosa” and like its other hits, it has that classical “feel” when you listen to the background music. In addition, the voices of the singers especially Anne Nurmi have that quality to soothe listeners.
NOTE TO THE READERS:
I would like to extend my gratitude to all of my readers. I really appreciate your continued support especially that I haven’t been able to post a blog entry for five months. I really do apologize. I have been “reconstructing” something in my life right now, so pardon for the long wait. Again, thank you so much and I hope that you would still read my future posts.
